What is an EMI Calculator?
An EMI Calculator works out the fixed monthly instalment on a loan from the loan amount, interest rate and tenure. It also shows the total interest and the total amount you will repay.
An equated monthly instalment (EMI) includes part of the principal and part of the interest. Early EMIs are mostly interest, and later ones are mostly principal. Lenders may add processing fees and other charges, which are not included here.
