What is a TDS Calculator?
A TDS Calculator works out the tax deducted at source on a payment and the net amount the payee receives, at the TDS rate you enter.
TDS rates depend on the type of payment, such as salary, rent, professional fees or interest, and on whether the payee has given a PAN. The deducted amount is credited against the payee’s tax.
